PFLAG Blue Ridge at the White House

In December 2012, the White House extended an invitation to regional PFLAG chapter members to attend a meeting to discuss the impact that potential “fiscal cliff” funding cuts would have on the LGBTQ community, particularly youth.

One of our members attended this meeting, and gave us a wonderful report of the day. She was also gifted with the following document — a copy of the signed proclamation by President Obama declaring in 2012 that June is LGBT Pride Month.
