Members and Friends of PFLAG Blue Ridge took part in the United Way’s Day of Caring on Wednesday, September 18.
Here, they are seen busily stuffing envelopes at the Albemarle County Department of Social Services. The Department of Social Services offers a variety of Family Support Programs, and PFLAG Blue Ridge was glad to assist.
The Day of Caring “promotes the spirit and value of volunteerism, increases the awareness of local human service agencies and schools, and demonstrates what people working together for the community’s good can accomplish.”*
